Our History

On October 4, 2014 Pilgrim Rest Baptist adopted their new church name, New Life Christian Fellowship church under the Pastorate of Rev. Manning Perkins. On October 13,2014, the church relocated to 9200 E. Bellevue, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. We continued to worship there until Pastor Manning Perkins announced his retirement effective October 25, 2015 and a banquet honoring his years of service was held in his honor.

November 1, 2015, Pastor Kevin Thompson became the newly ordained Pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship.  We worshiped at the Greenwood Village location until Pastor Thompson was given the vision to move the church to temporary location in preparation for one last move.  On March 6, 2016, we held our first worship service in our new home at 4800 Telluride Street Denver, CO 80249.

We began Tuesday Night Teaching and reached outside the four walls and had several outreach ministries.  Over 200 women were blessed with purses filled with basic needs; we manned a prayer booth at the People’s Fair where several prayer requests were made and God answered lots of those prayers; and we volunteered at the Denver Rescue Mission feeding and ministering to the homeless. This is just the beginning of the outreach New Life provides, with many more endeavors in store!
